Presentation of Big Wheel to Gp Capt Harold Fishwick
MBE FCIM RAF (Retd)
|
|
Back in June 2002 your Committee awarded Harold
Fishwick of the 8M12 (33rd) Entry, Free Life Membership to the Association for
his services as Scrutineer of the Association Accounts during the period
November 1989 through to January 2003.
The normal advice letter was sent to Harold by the
President, and Harold was presented with his certificate at the 18th Annual
General Meeting on 9th September 2002, but for some unknown reason he did not
receive his "Big Wheel." This fact was belatedly recognised by the Committee at
their May 2006 meeting, and Les Harris, together with Dennis Davey, were charged
with arranging to meet Harold and present him with his "Big Wheel."
The picture shows Les making the presentation at
Henley Golf Club.
