In January 1933, 36 young hopefuls arrived at RAF Cranwell as the
5D (27th) Entry to train as Instrument Makers or Wireless Operator Mechanics.
During their training, they gained 1 from the 26th Entry, 1 of their number was
re-classed to a later Entry and 1 Ceased Training.
This left 35 to Pass Out in December 1935.
