Entry Representative: David Compton

initially
based upon data held in the RAF Cranwell Association Database, then
amended on advice from the Entry Representative.
In September 1945, 63 young hopefuls arrived at
RAF Cranwell as the 8M9 (51st) Entry to train as Air & Ground
Radio Fitters. During
their training they gained 12 from Senior Entries, 6 ceased
training, while 19 of their number were re-classed to later Entries,
leaving 50 to pass out in July 1948.
