In September 1946, 90 young hopefuls arrived at
RAF Cranwell as the 9M9 (54th) Entry to train as Ground and Air
Radio Fitters. During
their training they gained 7 from Senior Entries, 4 ceased
training, while 8 of their number were re-classed to later Entries,
leaving 78 to pass out in September 1949.
