In September 1947, 83 young hopefuls arrived at RAF Cranwell as the 0M9 (57th) Entry to train as Ground and Air Radio Fitters. During their training they gained 14 from Senior Entries, 14 of their number were re-classed to later Entries or ceased training, leaving 83 to pass out in September 1950.
